What Makes HIDGuy.Net Signature 5202 HID kit Unique?

All our Bulbs are manufacture to OEM specs which makes our bulbs one of the best fitting bulbs on the market. As shown in fig. 2-1, the hid bulb has all the same notches along with duplicated tabs for a complete OEM fit in your application. The bulb itself is manufactured with the OEM specs in mind. Along with duplicate reproduction of the base of the bulb, the Capsule that holds the xenon gas and salt mixture is at the same height as the OEM filament. This plays a huge role in heat distribution within the housing and protects the fog light from any melting issue.
The "25 Watt Ballast"
With the addition of our Bulbs manufactured to OEM specs, we crafted a lower wattage HID ballast to power the bulb. With lower wattage means less powerful arch going through bulb which equals less heat generated by the bulb. Since the 5202 Light Housings are smaller then traditional fog light housings they do not dissipate heat as fast as a 35 watt or higher ballast wattage would produce through the bulb. This is what causing melting issues with other retailers HID kits. There are retailers out there that will tell their customers that:
"Now 35watt is safe to run on fog lights but you need to make sure that the HID bulb is not too long that it would touch the lense. We do 300 cars a month and the only car that we had an issue with fog lights were the Hummer H1." or " The adjustable ballasts have 5 settings and come with a controller. The range of output power is 30W - 50W. Depending on the vehicle that you are planning on running the 5202 kit in we would more than likely pre-set the ballasts for you to 30W of output power." Although the second statement might be true we have experiment with different wattage in these fog lights and have experienced that 25 watt ballast is definitely the best route to go to avoid any issue.
