- Tired of wasting money on new 5202 fog light housings due to bubbling and melting of your housings because the other guys said it was safe to install a 35 watt 5202 HID kit on your fog lights? We have the solution, introducing 25 watt 5202 HID Kit solution!
- Most Online Retailers will tell you that 35 Watt kits will be perfectly fine for your little fog light housings. This may be true in some incenses, but more time then none you will end up with your fog light housings falling apart due to heat. 35 watt may be more intense but because of this burn gases a lot hotter inside the bulb. Due to the housings being so small, heat cannot escape fast enough causing the chrome reflector to bubble and melt.
- The use of 25 watt ballast is a lot safer then 35 watt alternatives. Most intensity issues are virtually unseen to the eye. 25 watt ballast still burns the gas inside the bulb the same as a 35 watt ballast but burns it at a lower temperature, causing the bulb and heat inside the housing to be closer to stock OEM 5202 Halogen temperature.
